Teen Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With SUV Near I-91 In Wallingford, Cops Say
A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday, July 8, in a crash near Interstate 91 in Wallingford, police said. The collision happened around the intersection of South Colony Road and the Wharton Brook Connector (I-91), according to a release from the Wallingford Police Department. Police said the teen was riding a Suzuki SV650 northbound on South Colony Road when a 46-year-old man driving a Lexus RX450 heading south made a left turn onto the connector road. Car Crashes Into CT Apartment Complex Damaging Structure
A car crashed into a Connecticut apartment building after the driver failed to make a turn and drove straight into the complex, according to police. The incident took place in New Haven County around 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13 in Wallingford at 327 South Elm St. According to Lt. Stephen Jaques of the Wallingford Police, officers discovered that a gray 2016 Kia Optima crashed into the front side of the complex causing damage to the structure.
