A former Jackson Township man was facing charges in a Howell Township crash that killed a father more than two years ago, authorities said. Drew Peterson of Jensen Beach, Florida, was indicted for second-degree vehicular manslaughter, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 20. A grand jury returned the indictment on Wednesday, Oct. 30 after a forensic toxicologist's review. The identity has been released of a man killed in a hit-and-run Long Island crash involving an allegedly drunk driver. The crash happened around 4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in Westbury. A 2006 gray Chrysler Sebring was traveling eastbound on Old Country Road when it struck a bicyclist near the intersection of State Street.
