One person has died after three separate incidents of passenger vehicles slamming into utility poles along highways in South Central Pennsylvania within 15 hours. The person who died passed at Gettysburg Hospital following the first crash into a utility pole along Route 116/Hanover Road in Mount Pleasant Township around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, the Pennsylvania State Police explained. No injuries were reported after a Paramus EMS vehicle slammed into a utility pole, strewing wires across the road, while returning to its station.
