It's only a drill. Officials will be conducting "force-on-force" security drills at Indian Point in the next several weeks, complete with training drills that will include simulated gunfire in the area. Holtec will be conducting the drills using weapons that simulate the real thing at night on Thursday, April 21, Tuesday, April 26, Tuesday, May 3, and Thursday, May 12. Cause Of Death, ID Revealed For Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant Worker
Authorities have identified the contractor who died on Three Mile Island on Friday morning. The victim was identified as Michael Miller, 55, of Alabama, according CBS21. The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission initially said the Miller's death was part of a “material handling accident," and noted that he was outside the radiological controlled area.
