Update: Summit Police Department announced the investigation has concluded and they have reopened the area. The Union County Haz Mat is investigating an unknown odor in Summit on Wednesday, Sept. 10, authorities said. The Haz MAt unit is at 385 Springfield Ave., Summit Police said. Officers are requesting people avoid the area during the investigation. Haven Savings Bank is located at the site. This is a developing story. Check back later for any additional updates.
