Driver, Passenger Killed After Car Crashes Down Embankment On CT Roadway, Police Say
Connecticut State Police are asking the public for help identifying two people who were killed in a single-car crash. The crash took place in New Haven County on I-91 in North Haven around 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30 near Exit 12. Police said a 2011 Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound on I-91 when it passed the off-ramp and ran off the road to the right. The car then traveled down an embankment and collided with a tree, causing the car to catch on fire, state police said. Authorities Try To ID Man Struck, Killed By Train In Rutherford
A man was rendered unidentifiable when he was struck and killed by a commuter train in Rutherford. Police found the dismembered body after responding to the call near the intersection of Park and East Erie avenues just west of the Rutherford train station shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. He'd been struck by the Bergen County Line No. 1854 train, which left Waldwick at 7:35 a.m. and was due to arrive in Hoboken at 8:20 a.m., NJ TRANSIT's Jim Smith said. The bodies of two men were found in various stages of decomposition in a park in Baltimore, authorities say. The unidentified victims were found fully clothed surrounded by multiple used needles and drug paraphernalia shortly before 6 p.m. in Carroll Park on Wednesday, June 1, Baltimore Police confirm. DOE: Dead Man With 9 Bullet Holes, No ID Dumped At Paterson Hospital
An unidentified man with nine gunshot wounds was pronounced dead after someone dropped him off before dawn Saturday at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, authorities said. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora didn’t say whether the “individuals” who brought him to the hospital in a private vehicle around 5 a.m. stuck around or had been identified in any way. Two Bodies Found Inside Fairfield County Home
Police are awaiting autopsy results after two people were found dead inside a Fairfield County home. The bodies were found around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30 inside the home on Calhoun Avenue, in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management for Bridgeport. When police arrived on the scene, AMR personnel pronounced both parties dead at the scene, Appleby said. Police are waiting on the autopsies to determine the cause of death.
