Hartford Duo Played Role In Violent Kidnapping That Ended With Daring Escape, Police Say
Two Connecticut residents — including a 17-year-old boy — are among four people accused of kidnapping and violently assaulting a victim who was allegedly held against their will inside a New York home. The disturbing incident began on Saturday, May 31, when troopers received reports of a possible kidnapping in Clinton County. Investigators learned that a victim had been forcibly taken from Plattsburgh and transported to a Franklin County residence in the village of Tupper Lake, nearly 90 miles away, New York State Police said.
