Maryland’s Six Flags America won’t be bringing back its wildly popular Fright Fest this year as the Bowie park heads into its final fall season before closing for good. Six Flags Great Adventure is closing down the world's tallest roller coaster after two decades of thrills, officials said. The Jackson Township amusement park's Kingda Ka roller coaster will be retired, Six Flags said in a news release on Thursday, Nov. 14.
