Maryland Counties Having Technical Issues With 911 Calls
At least two locales in Maryland are having issues at their 911 call centers, officials are advising. Alerts were issued in Washington and Anne Arundel counties on Tuesday, Aug. 22, as they dealt with technical difficulty involving emergency calls. Technical Issues Close Stafford's Gov't Offices
Some of Stafford County's municipal offices were closed Friday, May 5 due to technical issues. "Due to technical issues causing a phone and internet outage, several offices in the George L. Gordon, Jr., Government Center, 1300 Courthouse Road, are now closed for business for the remainder of the day," local officials said in a statement around noon. The following offices and functions remain open: Early Voting, which takes place in Conference Room ABC through 4:30 p.m. Social Services Courts Public Safety More information will be released as it becomes available.

A technical error on Labor Day may have caused some Connecticut Lottery winning tickets to register as non-winning. The CT Lottery System experienced technical issues on Monday, Sept. 6, which may have caused some tickets not to validate accurately as winning or non-winning, CT Lottery announced on Wednesday, Sept. 8.
