A school bus overturned in a crash with a passenger car on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday, Nov. 14, leaving three students, a school aide, and the driver injured, New Jersey State Police said. The bus and a Lexus passenger car were heading south near milepost 69.1 when the vehicles collided around 3:10 p.m. in Barnegat, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. Seven students were hospitalized following a crash involving a school bus on a Long Island roadway Friday morning, March 24. It happened just after 8 a.m. in Moriches, on Montauk Highway east of Bay Point Drive, according to the Center Moriches Fire Department. Authorities in Chester County are investigating after a school bus crash injured five students, officials say. It happened in Caln Township on Tuesday, March 14, said township police in a statement. The bus was near the corner of Foundry Street and Brooks Lane in Carver Court when it struck a "Flagger Force trailer and vehicle that was legally parked and unattended" at about 3:40 p.m., the department said. A Northern Westchester high school student was injured after jumping out of a third-floor window of an area high school. The incident took place on Monday, Jan. 3, when a 16-year-old student at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, "voluntarily jumped" from the third-floor window, said Bedford Police Lt. Jeffrey Gulick. School Bus Driver Fired In York County Following Crash With Students Onboard
A school bus was involved in a crash in Hopewell Township while on its morning route on Tuesday, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. The South Eastern School District bus was carrying 17 students when it crashed, overturning at the intersection of Kilgore and Draco roads at 8:05 a.m. When crews arrived at the scene just after 8:30 a.m. all the students were already out of the bus and area was cleared in about one hour, said dispatch.
