Six Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In Weekend Stops
With local and state police agencies cracking down on drunk, drugged and distracted driving, several local residents were among nearly two dozen in the area who found themselves on the wrong side of the law over the weekend. Local residents charged were: Westchester County On July 28, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Segundo Otavalo Figueroa, age 24, of Ossining, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested. Eight From Westchester Charged With DWI Over Presidents Day Weekend
Nearly two dozen area motorists were among those busted by State and local law enforcement agencies have made a concerted effort to curtail impaired drivers in the Hudson Valley as part of a drinking and driving crackdown throughout the state. New York State Police troopers conducted a special detail over the extended President’s Day weekend looking for impaired drivers as they continue their STOP-DWI crackdown.
