In Fairfield County, officers on patrol from the Darien Police Department stopped Stamford resident Ross Nazaire, age 24, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, when he was spotted repeatedly crossing the double yellow line in a vehicle that had an expired registration, authorities announced.

A motorist from Connecticut who was allegedly drinking and driving in Westchester over the weekend is facing a DWI charge after he threw up outside his car window during a traffic stop in Scarsdale, police said.
While on patrol on Post Road shortly after midnight on Sunday morning, an officer spotted a car speeding through the village with no headlights, swerving repeatedly over the double yellow lines near Scarsdale Police Headquarters.
