Industrial Worker, 30, Hospitalized With Burns In South Jersey: Police
A South Jersey industrial worker was hospitalized after suffering burns from a hydronic heating system Tuesday afternoon, police said. The victim — a 30-year-old man — was burned by a hydronic heating system at Aurobindo Pharma on Windsor Center Drive shortly before 10:40 a.m., Lt. Jason Hart told DailyVoice.com. A SouthStar medical helicopter was requested and later canceled, according to initial reports. The victim was ultimately taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment, Lt. Hart said.

Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured In West Milford
A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital after being struck in West Milford over the weekend. A SouthSTAR medical chopper took the 70-year-old victim to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson after he was struck and pinned on residential stretch of Macopin Road near McCormick Road shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday, responders said. Echo Lake Ballfield was used at the landing zone. Macopin Road was closed from Echo Lake to Germantown for about 90 minutes. There was no immediate word about possible charges or summonses. Township police and firefighters were among the responders.

Shooting Reported In Ocean County
Authorities were investigating a shooting on Tuesday night in Ocean County. An unidentified victim was shot about 7 p.m. in Little Egg Harbor, and airlifted to an area hospital, according to initial reports. Unconfirmed reports said the gunshot victim was "up and walking around" near 230 Radio Road before the SouthSTAR medevac flight from Pinelands Regional High School. This is a developing news story. Pedestrian Struck In Atlantic County
Police, firefighters and EMS crews were responding to a report of a pedestrian struck by a speeding vehicle in Atlantic County, authorities said. The collision occurred about 9 p.m. on the 4700 block of Landis Avenue in Buena Vista Township, not far from Vineland.
