After a summer of upheaval, "Saturday Night Live" is ready to kick off its 51st season with a bang. The venerable sketch comedy show announced the lineup for the first three shows of the season with Bad Bunny hosting the Oct. 4 season premiere with musical guest Doja Cat. Will there be anyone left to say "Live From New York?" Longtime cast member Heidi Gardner is the latest cast member to be leaving "Saturday Night Live," departing the venerable sketch comedy show after eight seasons, Variety reported. 'SNL' Losing Another Cast Member
The "Saturday Night Live" exodus is continuing. Michael Longfellow is leaving the venerable sketch comedy show after three seasons, Deadline.com reported. Though he was a regular Weekend Update desk, Longfellow, who joined the show in Season 48, was one of the least used cast members on the show, with his screen time ranking 4th from the bottom this past season, according to Saturday Night Network. HBO is letting Larry David loose on American history, and the country may never look at 1776 the same way again. Two sketch comedy troupes are set to do battle in Hackensack and only one can be declared the winner. "Bragging Rights Sketch Comedy" is performing at the Hackensack Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The brainchild of Matt Algozzini, a Maywood resident, the show will feature two teams, the red team and blue team, performing comedy skits, with the audience picking the winner.
