With people expecting to see more than 1 foot of snow on the ground Thursday, Dec. 17, Connecticut schools are arranging to have the students attend school remotely or call for a snow day. Two high school students in Connecticut have been suspended after posting photos of themselves on social media featuring “blackface.” Officials with the Simsbury School District suspended a pair of students for a day after the photos surfaced earlier this month, which led to a vocal outcry from area residents and the Greater Hartford NAACP.
