11 Choking Incidents Trigger Massive Recall Of Popular Baby Toy
A baby teething toy sold online is being recalled after nearly a dozen young children choked on it, officials said. ZW Creations issued the recall for about 102,430 Tiyol Pull String Teething Toys, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Thursday, May 14. The toy's silicone strings are smaller and longer than allowed under federal safety standards. The strings can reach the back of a child's throat and become lodged, creating a deadly choking hazard.
