Toms River and surrounding communities are mourning the loss of Michael Reilly, the owner of a local sanitization company who died after battling COVID-19. Reilly died Dec. 9 at Community Medical Center. He was 47 years old. A Denville native, Reilly served in the U.S. Marines and most recently served as the owner and operator of Servpro, in Toms River. C. Difficile Case To Close Beacon High School For Cleaning
Beacon High School will be closed Wednesday, March 27, due to a confirmed case of bacteria that causes diarrhea and colitis. Beacon City School District Superintendent Matt Landahl said school staff learned on Tuesday, March 26, of a confirmed case of C. diff, Clostridioides difficile, in an announcement on the district's website and in an email to parents.
