On the same day hoaxes forced Virginia universities to close campuses and hit the Democratic National Committee, a top Maryland lawmaker says she was also targeted at her home. Adrienne A. Jones, the Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates issued a statement late on Thursday, Sept. 11, advising that she also received a bomb threat at her home in Baltimore County. Bathroom Mirror Threat Brings Security To Plane From London Landing In Newark
A United Airlines flight from London to Newark was subject to a security sweep after a threat was found written on a bathroom mirror on Monday, April 1, a spokesperson for the airline said. The threat on United Airlines flight 921 was "non-credible," the airline said. A security sweep was conducted and customers deplaned a short distance from the terminal, the airline said.
