A 26-year-old man recently accused of arson was arrested after he broke into the New Milford Library on Monday, Oct. 28, authorities said. At 11:19 pm, officers were dispatched to the New Milford Public Library on a report of a activated burglar alarm, New Milford police said. Four men are facing charges in connection with a string of home break-ins on Long Island. Police were called to a Lake Success home on Pine Hill Road Wednesday, Jan. 18, after someone triggered the home’s security alarm, according to Nassau County Police.
