A man from the United Kingdom who fled the United States using his twin brother’s passport after causing a serious wrong-way crash in Rockland County that injured multiple people, including children, has been released at the same time as being sentenced, prosecutors announced.
Thomas Robb, 22, was sentenced on Thursday, May 1, in Rockland County Court to 364 days in jail on each count of an 11-count indictment, with all sentences to run concurrently, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II.

Witnesses Sought In Fatal Hudson Valley Crash
Police are asking for any witnesses to a Hudson Valley crash in which a scooter driver was hit and killed by an SUV to come forward.
Rockland County resident Dariel Rivera, of Central Nyack, was killed around 3:50 a.m., Friday, July 14, on Route 303 in West Nyack.
According to Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police, officers found Rivera after police received reports of a person lying in the roadway.
Rivera, who was riding an electric scooter, which was found heavily damaged, had sustained severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, Peters said.

A man was killed during a three-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in the Hudson Valley.
The crash took place around 5:03 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15, in Rockland County at the intersection of Route 303 and East Erie Street in Blauvelt.
A 2005 Mack commercial box truck driven by Orange County resident Andrew Roe, age 29, of Middletown, was traveling northbound on Route 303 when he collided with a 2019 Subaru Forrester, driven by Seymour Whynman, age 83, of Blauvelt, according to Orangetown Police Department Det.
