A 29-year-old Mechanicsburg man accused of driving the wrong way on Route 15 at over 100 mph, slamming into multiple vehicles, injuring six people including two children, and punching an EMT, has been arrested, Upper Allen Township Police announced late on Friday, April 11.
Fernando Luis Colon-Torres, of the 600 block of Geneva Drive, faces 38 charges stemming from the violent crash on Friday, Jan. 17, according to court documents.

Fatal Garbage Truck Crash Closes Route 15 (Update)
A fatal crash involving a garbage truck closed Route 15 in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, early Saturday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said in a release.
The crash happened at 5:03 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, along the 6800 block of US Highway 15 South, just south of McNett Road. Trooper Ryan Smith, the investigating officer, reported that the collision occurred when a garbage truck attempted a U-turn near the driveway of 6885 US Highway 15.

A man who attacked police while being arrested on burglary charges, has been taken into custody at a Dillsburg hotel by US Marshalls.
Skylor Michael Fickes, 30, of Etters, was originally wanted by police for burglary and running in a "chop shop" auto theft operation, according to a release by U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane.
