Move Your Car: Greenwich Selectmen Declare Snow Emergency Before Storm Hits
GREENWICH, Conn. – With the National Weather Service predicting several inches of snow to fall overnight and throughout Thursday, a snow emergency has been declared by the Greenwich Board of Selectmen. The snow emergency prohibits on-street parking on designated routes beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3. The parking ban will enable Department of Public Works crews and its contractors to effectively clear the town's roadways. Residents are advised to park their vehicles in their driveways or yards.
