A teenager who held a gun to a pizza delivery driver’s head before stealing her car was sentenced to five to 13 years in state prison, authorities announced on Friday, Nov. 14.
Xavier Eriberto Velazquez, 19, of the 500 block of Manor Street in Lancaster, was sentenced by Judge Dennis Reinaker on Sunday, Oct. 27, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office. Velazquez had pleaded guilty in June to robbery of a motor vehicle, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery of a motor vehicle, robbery, and firearms not to be carried without a license, the release detailed.

Bridgeton Man Who Robbed Pizza Delivery Drivers Learns Fate: Prosecutor
A 34-year-old Bridgeton man was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Monday, March 31,after robbing two pizza delivery drivers at gunpoint.
In 2019, Tyreen Walker placed orders with Domino's Pizza and Pizza Hut, requesting a pizza delivery, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. When the order arrived at the location, he robbed the drivers, taking the pizza and whatever money they had, Webb Mc-Rae said.
Walker was sentenced to two seven-year prison terms for robbery, with the sentences being served consecutively, Webb-McRae said.
Four In Custody After Allegedly Robbing Pizza Delivery Driver In Region
Four Western Mass residents, including two juveniles, were arrested after a pizza delivery driver was robbed in the region, according to police.
Hampden County residents Mario Santiago, age 24, and Josiah Finlay, age 18, both of Springfield, were arrested around 1 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, in Springfield.
Officers were called to assist a pizza delivery driver on Ainsworth Street for a report of an unarmed robbery.
The driver told police that he was assaulted and robbed on Vermont Street while attempting to make a delivery.
He did not need medical attention.
