‘Call Me Daddy' Creepy Allentown Church Leader, Coach Who Kidnapped Girl To Mexico Found Dead
Kevin Esterly — the Pennsylvania man who fled to Mexico with a teenage girl in 2018 and was later convicted of repeatedly raping her as a child — died by suicide while incarcerated at Lehigh County Jail, authorities announced on Monday, June 22. Esterly, 53, was pronounced dead at 2:16 a.m. in the emergency department at St. Luke's Hospital-Allentown Campus after being found unresponsive in his single cell at the jail, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. The sudden and tragic loss of beloved Allentown firefighter Matt Hummel on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the age of 30 is spreading shock and grief throughout the community. A native of Portland, Matt graduated from Parkland High School before studying at Penn State Berks, according to his social media page.
