DUI Mustang Driver Going 100 MPH Gravely Injured Rookie Cop In LIE Pursuit, Officials Say Officials have identified the officer gravely injured during a high-speed pursuit with a DUI Ford Mustang driver on the Long Island Expressway (LIE) as Suffolk County Police Officer Brendan Gallagher, a three-year veteran of the force.  Gallagher was critically injured while pursuing Cody Fischer, suspected of speeding under the influence on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, officials said during a press conference held by the Suffolk County Executive's office. Man Shot During Fight In Area, Police Say Police are currently investigating a shooting that took place during a fight. The incident took place around 8:20 p.m., Friday, July 30, in Sullivan County. Woman Nabbed With Crack, Heroin At Area Hotel, Police Say A 47-year-old woman is behind bars after police responded to a hotel for a report of a dispute. The incident took place around 12:22 p.m., Thursday, May 7, in Sullivan County when members of the Monticello Police responded to a report of a dispute at the Inn at Monticello, said Monticello Police Lt.
