Police on Long Island launched an investigation after they found a man dead inside a local home. It happened on Monday, Feb. 26 in Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police. The death of a 42-year-old man whose body was found at the Garrett Mountain Reservation on Thursday doesn't appear suspicious, authorities said. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Passaic County Sheriff Gary Giardina confirmed the 1 p.m. Feb. 1 discovery in the Woodland Park preserve. A body of a man was found in a dumpster in Newark on Thursday, Sept. 28, authorities said. At 5:19 p.m., Newark police found the body inside a dumpster on the 600 block of Clinton Avenue, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a concrete drainage pipe at a hiking park in Westchester. The man's body was found on Thursday night, May 4 just after 7 p.m. at the Nature Study Woods in New Rochelle, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. Police are investigating after a body was found in a Connecticut pond. The body of a man was found after Hartford Police received information regarding a body floating in a pond at Bushnell Park around 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 12. Man Found Dead Inside Scotch Plains Apartment
Authorities were investigating the death of a man inside a Scotch Plains apartment Tuesday. Officers found the man dead inside of a unit on the 500 block of Park Avenue around 11 a.m., after a local resident called for a welfare check, local police said.
