The Padded Wagon building, a recognizable industrial site with a giant sign towering over Route 80 in Paterson, is officially for sale.
The historic complex at 61 State St., known formally as Reinhardt Mills, hit the market with a $13 million asking price, according to listing broker Homer De Leon of The Marmarou Team.
The 131,000-square-foot property, owned and occupied by national moving and storage company The Padded Wagon, sits in a prime location with high visibility from the highway. The business is preparing to vacate the site, De Leon said.

Work has begun on an upcoming multifamily development in Westchester that will feature five acres of open space, including walking trails and a community garden.
The groundbreaking for a 200-unit luxury multifamily development in Harrison at 1 Webb Avenue was announced by its developer, The NRP Group, on Monday, June 17.
The project, located on a 10-acre site, will include 30 studio units, 75 one-bedroom units, and 84 two-bedroom residences and is located in close proximity to several major highways such as Interstates 287, 95, and the Hutchinson River Parkway.
