36-Year-Old Killed In Crash After Hitting Motorcycle Lying In Roadway A 36-year-old Connecticut man was killed after hitting another vehicle that had crashed. It happened in Hartford County around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 3 in Wethersfield. According to Connecticut State Police, Taj Andre Beckford, of Bloomfield, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Route 5/15 just north of the on-ramp for Route 314 when he hit another motorcycle lying in the roadway, but not the driver identified as Jordan Barnes, age 20, of Newington. Motorcyclist ID'd In Fatal South Jersey Crash: Police Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in.a collision with a flatbed truck in Atlantic County. Vincent Sanborn IV, 49, of Egg Harbor Township died in the collision, police said. The crash occurred at 9:20 a.m. Monday, June 12 on Bethel Road several hundred feet west of Route 9, Somers Point police said. The motorcyclist collided into the side of a MAC flatbed carrier truck, police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the crash scene.  The truck driver was not injured. The collision remains under investigation.

Motorcyclist Killed In Two-Vehicle Maryland Crash, Police Say Howard County police are investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred in Elkridge over the weekend, authorities say. Marval Iran Polk Jr., 20, was killed while riding a motorcycle after colliding with a 2013 Honda Accord around 9:50 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 30, according to Howard County police. Polk Jr. reportedly collided with the Honda while it was making a left turn at Port Capital Drive on Route 1.  The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Route 1 in the area of Port Capital Drive was closed for approximately three hours.

Baltimore County Man, 50, Killed In Rosedale Motorcycle Crash A 50-year-old man from Baltimore County has died after he colliding with a truck while riding his motorcycle, authorities said.  Mark Conklin was going north on Lillian Holt Drive in Rosedale when he collided with a Dodge Ram going the opposite direction around 11:40 a.m. on Sunday, April 17, Baltimore County Police said. Police said Conklin smashed into the vehicle as the truck was making a left turn in front of Conklin towards Trump Mill Road. Conklin was taken to a local hospital where he later died.  The investigation is ongoing.

State Police: Woman, 25, Hospitalized After Motorcycle Collides With SUV In Hunterdon County A motorcycle rider was hospitalized after colliding with an SUV in Hunterdon County Sunday night, state police confirmed. The 25-year-old woman was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle on Route 22 when the vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe near the Hunterdon Hills Plaza in Lebanon shortly before 10 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. The woman was taken to Morristown Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Goez said. The Tahoe driver was uninjured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
