An elderly cruise guest from the US died after her mobility scooter drove off a pier at a resort in the Bahamas, authorities said. UPDATED: An 81-year-old man riding a four-wheel mobility scooter was struck and killed by a pickup truck in Ocean County, authorities said. The collision with a Ford F-150 pickup occurred at about 9:25 p.m. on Monday, April 11 at Jackson Mills and Harmony roads in Jackson Township, police said.
