17-Year-Old Girl From Port Washington Has Been Missing For A Week
Authorities are asking for help in locating a Long Island teenager who has been missing for over a week. Maria Mete, 17, was last seen in Port Washington on Monday, Sept. 1, according to Nassau County Police. A clothing description and possible destination were not given. Missing Suffolk County Teens Found
Update: Two Long Island teenagers who went missing have been found. The Riverhead Police Department announced on Thursday, Jan. 27 that it was searching for 13-year-old Maria Mete and 14-year-old Jackeline Carballo. On Friday, Jan. 28, police reported that the two have been found and returned to the Little Flower Children and Family Services campus in Wading River.
