It’s official: Bowie has a brand-new way to stock the fridge and grab a slice — all under one roof.
Giant Food cut the ribbon Friday morning, March 28, on its sparkling new store at South Lake Marketplace in Bowie, drawing a crowd of shoppers, dignitaries, and pizza fans ready to see what’s on the shelves (and in the oven).
Located at 810 Fairmont Drive, the state-of-the-art supermarket comes packed with perks, including a full-service pharmacy, expanded organic and local produce offerings, and — for the pizza purists — the 50th in-store Ledo Pizza location.
