Fairfield County Man Busted With Heroin
Stamford's Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit caught a Fairfield County man as he drove into the city to sell heroin and crack cocaine, said the Stamford Police Department. Joseph Villafane, 34, of Shelton, was arrested Friday around 2 p.m. after officers with the unit received information that he would be arriving in town to deliver drugs, said Capt. Richard Conklin. When officers approached Villfane as he pulled into his destination on Woodcliff Road, he twisted to the side as to hide something when he saw police approaching, Conklin said.
