Double Shooting Kills One In Newark
One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Newark early Monday morning, May 22, authorities said. At 12:10 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on the 100 block of Riverview Court, where they found Jamid Hargrove, a 22-year-old Newark resident, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.
