Two Maryland parents are facing charges after they left their 1-year-old child alone in a hotel room so they could go drinking at a waterfront bar in Grasonville, according to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called to the Hilton Garden Inn in Grasonville around 9:33 p.m. on Monday, June 16, for a report of child left behind, officials said. UPDATE: The missing person has been located. Police have launched a search for a 74-year-old man who went missing from a Morris County nursing home Saturday, Sept. 2, they said. James Grant went missing from Morris View Health Care on West Hanover Avenue in Morris Township around 10:30 a.m., local police said. A vulnerable 75-year-old man from Nassau County has been missing for nearly two weeks. According to the Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad, James Grant was last seen on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at noon, an incident reported Sunday, Sept. 22 at 1:50 p.m. Detectives described Grant as a male black and said he suffers from a cognitive disorder and is need of medication.
