Man Charged With Murder In Newark Stabbing: Prosecutor
A 39-year-old man has been charged with murder in a deadly Newark stabbing, authorities said. Dathan Cuascut is accused of stabbing James Dunlap dead at 47 Miller St. on Saturday, March 12, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, said. Cuascut was charged with murder, unlawful possession of weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The investigation is remains active and ongoing. Philadelphia Man Sentenced In South Jersey Stabbing: Prosecutor
A 54-year-old Philadelphia man has been sentenced to eight years in New Jersey state prison in connection with a stabbing, authorities said. James Dunlap was on Friday, Feb. 18 by Camden County Superior Court Judge Edward J. McBride, Jr., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay Dunlap was convicted of aggravated assault for repeatedly stabbing a Cherry Hill man who was visiting his girlfriend in Woodlynne in January 2020, MacAulay said.
