A propane truck was left dangling after a bridge collapsed beneath it in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday, April 30. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 on the 3700 block of Orchid Place at the privately owned Wildlands Conservancy bridge, troopers said. The Middle Thorofare Bridge in Lower Township was closed to drivers, walkers, and bicyclists, the Cape May County government said in a news alert on Sunday, Aug. 18.
