Rec Director Had ‘Unlawful Contact’ With Teen Employee In Fairfax County, Police Say
A trusted Fairfax County aquatics director has been charged with indecent liberties after allegedly having unlawful contact with a teen staffer at a rec facility, authorities said.
Nicholas Ambrose, 28, of Alexandria, was arrested on Wednesday, June 11, after an investigation by the Fairfax County Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit.
According to police, officers were called around 10:49 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, to the 8100 block of Braddock Road in Annandale after a juvenile employee reported “inappropriate contact” with a supervisor.

A Virginia Catholic school teacher is behind bars after being arrested on multiple child porn and solicitation charges, authorities announced.
Nicolas Martin Zimmerman, 35, of Chantilly, was arrested on April 7 and is facing multiple felony charges, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).
Zimmerman, a former teacher at St. Veronica’s Catholic School in Chantilly, taught at the school from August 2015 through February 2025, officials said on Wednesday, May 14.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and recording part of it, before sending it to at least one other person, authorities in Prince William County said.
Dominque Allen Sequeria-Carter, of Woodbridge, met up with the girl at a Woodbridge home sometime between Jan. 2 and 5, 2023, PWC police said.

A man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a minor has been arrested, authorities say.
Jeffrey Lynn Parker, 54, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 7 after reportedly sexually assaulting the minor in two homes belonging to Parker, one in the Triangle area of Prince William County, and the other in Woodbridge between July 2020 and September 2021, according to Prince William County police.
