Paul Gamboa-Taylor, now 65, killed his family with a hammer and knife at 667 West Princess Street in 1991. The victims were identified as his wife, Valerie L. Gamboa-Taylor, 23; her mother, Donna M. A Virginia mother and her boyfriend are behind bars after investigators say her 3-month-old baby boy died and his death was ruled a homicide.
Angela Holloman, 22, the infant’s mother, and Andrew Phillips, 29, her boyfriend, were both indicted in connection with the death of Asher Holloman last fall.
Specifically, both were charged with homicide, abuse/neglect of a child resulting in serious injury, and child endangerment/cruelty.

A mother was arrested in Pennsylvania after being found responsible for neglecting her 3-year-old child, leading to the child’s death in Maryland last year.
Shalyne Brown, 27, is behind bars following an investigation into the death of her toddler in November last year, according to the Howard County Police Department.

Gunman Dies By Suicide After Shooting Woman In Linden, Cops Say
A woman is in critical condition and the suspect is dead following a shooting in Linden on Monday, Aug. 18, authorities said.
At 10:15 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Carnegie Street and located a woman with a gunshot wound, Linden police said. The suspect fled from the scene and barricaded himself inside of a nearby home, police said.
Officers made entry to the house and located the suspect, deceased, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, police said.

The US State Department has issued updated travel guidance for one of America’s closest neighbors, citing a mix of safety risks for visitors.
The advisory that went live on Tuesday, Aug. 12 applies to Mexico, where officials say travelers should “exercise increased caution” because of threats that include terrorism, crime, and kidnapping.
