Tappan Zee Bridge To Glow Orange In Honor Of White Plains Worker Killed In I-287 Crash
The Tappan Zee Bridge will be illuminated orange as New York honors a Westchester County father of two who was killed while working along Interstate 287 earlier this month. Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that the bridge, officially named the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, will glow orange on Friday evening, Oct. 30, in memory of Jamil B. Wilson, 47, of White Plains. Closures Scheduled For Southern State Parkway Interchange On Long Island
A new highway maintenance project will close a Southern State Parkway interchange. Starting on Thursday, June 6, the interchange of the Meadowbrook State Parkway and the Southern State Parkway in Hempstead will face closures, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.
