Fresh photos and video footage has been released of the three men who robbed a Maryland Ethiopian restaurant at gunpoint in December. The robbery occurred at Shalla Ethiopian Restaurant on the 8000 block of Sligo Avenue in Gaithersburg around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, Montgomery County Police said. The men — two of them armed with firearms and one carrying a red bag — entered the restaurant and demanded property from those inside, police said. One person was killed and a second hospitalized after gunshots rang out following an altercation inside a Montgomery County restaurant over the weekend. Silver Spring resident Marvin Jefferson, 34, has been identified as the person who was shot and killed at the America's Best Wings restaurant in the 11200 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Colesville on Saturday at the White Oak Shopping Plaza, according to police. A teenager from the Capital District is behind bars after he was allegedly caught driving a stolen car with a loaded handgun. Albany Police said they tried stopping the driver near First and Judson streets at around 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, but he refused to stop. A 17-year-old gunman accused of injuring four people and killing one in a bowling alley shooting over the weekend surrendered to authorities. Jamel Barnwell, 17, of Upper Darby, turned himself in around 12 a.m. Monday morning, Montgomery County DA Kevin R. Steele said. Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident In Norwalk
Police are investigating a case of shots fired that took place during the early-morning hours. The Norwalk Police Department received the report around 1 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in the area of Edlie Avenue. Responding officers found bullet holes lodged in the side of a house and shell casings at the scene, Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler said. The Detective Bureau is actively investigating this case and it is believed to be an isolated incident. There were no injuries in this incident.
