A man murdered his wife and two others before attempting suicide by cop at an upstate New York home, police said.
The Rensselaer County incident happened in the town of Grafton, at a residence on County Route 85, at around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 18.
Whitney Fowler, 27, called 911 reporting an altercation with her husband Joshua Fowler, 26, and requested police come to the property, according to New York State Police. While she was on the phone, the 911 dispatcher heard gunshots and the call disconnected.

Worker Killed In Accident At Capital Region Rock Quarry
An employee at a rock quarry in the region has died following an on-the-job accident.
The incident happened in Rensselaer County at around 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at R.J. Valente Gravel in Grafton, located on State Route 2, according to State police.
A preliminary investigation determined that Darren Miller, age 35, of Poestenkill, was working at the facility when a piece of equipment fell and struck him, police said.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.
