A suicidal and homicidal mother of murdered twin girls was found in Montauk after a massive two-hour search by pinging her cell phone and following the GPS. Police Use GPS Tracking To Catch Stolen Car Suspect In Northern Westchester
The owner of an allegedly stolen car in Westchester used GPS tracking to assist police in locating the vehicle and their suspect. Investigators from the Yorktown Police Department received a hotline message from the Peekskill Police Department shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, regarding a vehicle that had been stolen and was traveling eastbound on Crompond Road (Route 202) in Yorktown.
