$2.2M Project To Realign Intersection Of Routes 172, 117 Starts In Northern Westchester
A multi-million dollar project to realign Routes 172 and 117 in Mount Kisco has kicked off in earnest. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that construction has started on the $2.2 million project, which is designed to enhance safety for both motorists and pedestrians in the area. ShopRite Could Be Opening Mount Kisco Store
A new ShopRite could soon be coming to Northern Westchester. The Village of Mount Kisco is hosting a joint village board and planning board meeting Thursday, Jan.18 to discuss plans for bringing the supermarket to 333 North Bedford Road, opposite Staples. The 70,000 square foot supermarket would be relocated from its Bedford Hills location, also on Route 117. "The current zoning doesn't permit for it," Mayor Gina Picinich said.
