The highway was shut down on Tuesday morning, May 14 after a contractor accidentally struck a gas main during a reconstruction project, officials said. Maryanne Snyder, 17, of Frackville, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, near South Nice Street, state police said.
