Gambling Bust At Amityville Deli Leads To Owner, Customer Arrests, 10 Violations: Police
A community complaint led to a gambling bust at a Long Island deli, where two people were arrested and 10 violations were issued, police announced Saturday, Sept. 19.
The bust happened at Galeanos Deli, located at 58 Albany Ave. in Amityville, at approximately 10:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
First Precinct Crime Unit officers conducted the inspection alongside the New York State Liquor Authority, Village of Amityville Fire Marshal, and Village of Amityville Building Inspector after receiving a complaint from the community, police said.

A woman is facing charges, including sex abuse, after a raid at a Long Island massage parlor.
In response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police and other agencies conducted an investigation at Imperial Foot Care Spa in in Smithtown, located on Terry Road at around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 8.
Yan Fillion, age 61, of Woodside, Queens, was charged with two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession and two counts of third-degree sex abuse, according to police.
