A 19-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash after he allegedly ran a red light in the region, striking another car. An accidental electrical fire in Baltimore County resulted in the 10th fatality reported in 2024 after a 76-year-old man died at the hospital. Fire crews were called at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night to the 500 block of Shamrock Lane in PIkesville, when a two-alarm blaze broke out. A 61-year-old Maryland woman who struck a tree in her Audi sedan last September has died of injuries sustained in the accident, authorities said.
