Teen Airlifted In UTV Accident On Sparta Farm: Police
An 18-year-old male was airlifted to the hospital following a crash on a Sussex County farm on Monday, Aug. 26, local police said. The male was riding on the back of the UTV, a larger type of ATV, which was being used to perform work on a farm on Layton Lane in Sparta, Sparta Police Capt. Tom Snyder said. The UTV made an unexpected turn and the victim lost his balance, falling off and hitting his head, Snyder said. He lost consciousness and was flown to the hospital. "The operator of the UTV was fully cooperative with patrol units and showed no signs of intoxication," Snyder said.

A 5-year-old has died after being run over by a farm wagon, authorities told Daily Voice. The boy has been identified as Samuel K. Yoder, authorities confirmed to Daily Voice on Monday, July 31. He was struck and run over at a farm located in the 150 block of Fulton Britain Road in Little Britain Township, according to a Grothey. Emergency medical services were called to the scene at 10:20 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023, he explained. A 3-year-old was killed in a farm accident on Friday, August 26, 2022, authorities say.
