The Maryland woman who sought to “completely destroy” Baltimore with a neo-Nazi in Florida has admitted to planning to damage electrical facilities, federal authorities announced. Catonsville's Sarah Beth Clendaniel, 34, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, May 14 to conspiring to disable the facilities and for being a felon in possession of a firearm following a scheme she planned with 27-year-old Orlando resident Brandon Clint Russell, the US Justice Department said. People in West Orange, Fairfield and other nearby communities reported hearing a loud noise similar to an explosion Thursday night that officials said was caused by a technical problem at a PSEG facility in Roseland. A spokesman for the utility said there was an arc and an equipment failure at the switching station off Eisenhower Parkway shortly before 10 p.m. Power flickered momentarily but there were no service interruptions, the spokesman said. A Tesla Supercharger station that caught fire caused a smokey scene at the Parsippany Wawa. A neighbor across from the New Road gas station called the local fire department and store employees after noticing the flames Sunday, CNBC reports. Less than 6,000 Long Island residents remain without power following an intense storm that left thousands of customers without power. As of 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, PSEG Long Island is reporting 5,672 of its approximately 1.1 million customers across Long Island and the Rockaways are currently without power.
