NWS Confirms Tornado Touched Down In Pennsylvania The National Weather Service at State College has confirmed a tornado touched in Harrisburg and traveled through the neighboring townships during Tropical Storm Debby on Friday, Aug. 9. Tristate Twister: Tornado With 100 MPH Winds Travels Through CT, 2 Other States A survey conducted by the National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado caused damage across three states during a severe thunderstorm including in Connecticut. The tornado touched down Wednesday, Sept. 13 in Windham County in Killingly. It then traveled over the towns of Foster, Glocester, and Lincoln in Providence County, Rhode Island, and then finally, into North Attleboro, Massachusetts, in Bristol County. Tornado Touches Down In MD During Weekend Storm, NWS Confirms The National Weather Service has confirmed that the wicked weather over the weekend produced a small tornado that was reported in northern Maryland. An “EF1” tornado with winds peaking around 90 mph touched down in Cecil County just east of Rising Sun between 6:35 p.m. and 6:41 p.m. on Saturday, April 1 after forming as a result of a cluster of thunderstorms that rolled through the region.
