Mother, Son Indicted For Cold Case Murders In Long Branch A Monmouth County Grand Jury has returned an indictment charging a mother and her son in two separate murders that remained unsolved for 25 years, authorities said. Last month, Dolores (Connors) Morgan, 66, and her son, Ted Connors, 47, both of Del Ray Beach, Florida, were each charged with two separate counts of first-degree murder related to the deaths of Ana Mejia and Nicholas Connors, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Standout Goshen, OCC Athlete Brett Verdicchio Dies At 39 Standout Orange County athlete Brett Anthony Verdicchio died on Jan. 7 in Del Ray Beach, Fla. He was 39 years old. Brett was born in Hackensack, N.J., and raised in Campbell Hall, N.Y. He shined on the Goshen High School football team and was a star pitcher for the Goshen baseball team.  Brett graduated from Goshen High School in 1997.
